From the Apostles' Desk

Wow! It’s a new year and we’re grateful to our Lord for all the blessings we enjoyed in the past year. He is the God of abundance, purpose and productivity, plenteousness, richness, wholeness, holiness, righteousness, deliverance and prosperity.

2009 is already gearing up to be a phenomenal year with historical events such as: the inauguration of America’s first black president, global economic recession, spiraling crime, environmental challenges, increasing violence among the youths and unresolved conflicts between nations of the earth.

But God is about to show Himself strong in the midst of this year’s challenges. The economic forecast is discouraging and fearful but the word of the Lord is found in Jer.17:7-8

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." NIV

In light of this Word and on account of your faith in God and His Word, I declare that:

1. You are strengthened to survive and progress in spite of all that is before you.

2. The Lord will create ideal conditions for you to be fruitful in every way. Abundance is your portion therefore you shall not experience unemployment, barrenness, meagerness and not-enough-living.

3. I declare that you shall not be moved, shifted or shaken in this time for in accordance with Ps 125:1-2, ”Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.”NIV

4. You are further endowed with divine healing and health so that your health would not sabotage the plans of God for you this day.

5. (If married) I speak a Word of: stability, mutual submission, interdependence, understanding, intimacy and prosperity in your relationship.
